    Industry leading DC6150 Cable Coating, is a non-halogenated, asbestos-free, non-toxic, flexible, ablative, fire retardant cable coating. DC6150 is designed to prevent the propagation of fire along plastic jacketed electrical cables. DC6150 Cable Coating is FM 3971 Approved and tested to ensure it can withstand extreme conditions such as freeze/thaw cycles and salt water immersion. This testing also ensures that the protective coating does not de-rate the cables current carrying capacity. DC6150 Cable Coating is water based and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.  DC6150 is tested to IEEE1202 Standard for industrial cables and cable trays using smallest approved conductor! Beware of competitor products that are tested for marine applications over armored ship cable, as this testing does not verify the same level of protection of industrial control cables or building communication cables. In addition to certified testing, our fire lab can test specific cables and combinations to provide a solution to meet any of your needs. Meets the intent of LEED® VOC environmental air quality requirements.
